Lorne Hussey After growing up on the mainland, this 3rd generation “West Coaster” made the move to Oceanside in 1990. Settling in Qualicum Beach with my wife (of 27 yrs) and our two children was an excellent move! With backgrounds in horticulture and agriculture, we quickly became a part of the downtown scene, owning “Purrfect Touch Florist” from 1990-1998. This gave me the opportunity to be instrumental in establishing events such as “Fire and Ice Festival” and be involved in a quickly growing community. An avid boater, sailor and fly fisherman, you couldn’t ask for much more than what we have so close at hand. “I love it here!” Finding the horticulture and landscaping trade a younger mans game I chose to enter Real Estate in 2004. Helping people make the move to our area has to be one of the best jobs there is. Commitment to service and integrity has always been my number one priority and joining Remax will give me even more opportunity to continue this.
